This was a very low resolution original (and this is just a section of it) but it is shown here to illustrate how almost anything can be achieved no matter what the original. At Photo Crazy no reasonable request will ever be refused. The original of this was taken on a mobile phone and was only 640×480 pixels @ 72dpi and stored on the phone as a jpeg file. It therefore shows some quite severe jpeg artifacts on the original.
The client wanted to be able to have this as an 8" x 10" enlargement, so as many of these artifacts as possible needed to be removed. The section above represents aproximately 1.5" x 1.25" of the final image. Even though the enlargement is obviously a little soft, the removal of the jpeg artifacts makes it into a prized photo worth keeping.
