A treasured old photo of people from your past, your parents past, even your grandparents and beyond.
This picture having been left in a box that suffered some damp over the years had stuck to another photo. Some of the surface was then torn away when they were separated. The missing portions were illustrated in and whilst they may not be exactly as the original was, after all that no longer exists, it never-the-less now takes on the appearance of being complete. I was also able to improve the detail seen in the rest of the image, sharpen it and make it a generally brighter image to look at, creating a better 'aide-mémoire'
for that moment in time.
